SikaMix Powdered Mortar Plasticiser will entrain microscopic air bubbles into cement mortars, enhancing the working properties reducing the demand for mixing water. SikaMix Powdered Mortar Plasticiser also improves frost resistance in both freshly laid and hardened mortars, as the microscopic air bubbles entrained provide space for expansion of water due to freezing.

Key benefits

Helps reduce efflorescence

Reduces bleed and segregation in the mix

Improves frost resistance

Can be used down to -2 °C

Ready to use sachets

Typical applications

To improve workability in bricklaying, pointing bricks and rendering mortars

Can be used in cement, sand and cement, lime, and sand mortars

Technical information

Property

Value

Shelf life

24 months

Available sizes and packs

Pack

Sold as

Code

Pack of 250 x 15g sachets

Box of 1

165860

Health and safety

Signal word: Danger (H315, H318).
