It adheres well to a variety of substrates including masonry, blockwork, brick, and stone, whether dry or damp. Sovereign RenderLite Renovating Plaster is suitable for renovation in damp environments or flooded properties. Being breathable, it can be applied to damp walls allowing them to dry naturally, while releasing moisture from the substrate. This breathability ensures less moisture is retained and helps avoid mould growth and efflorescence. It can be applied instead of traditional lime-based plasters as it is flexible and breathable - however, it is much faster drying. Fibres in the plaster help control shrinkage, reduce cracking, improve the strength and increase the impact resistance of the plaster.
