Newton 3mm (mesh) Membrane, formerly Newlath 2000, is a clear, high density polypropylene, meshed waterproofing membrane that insulates and isolates damp and contaminated walls.
Used above ground as a damp-proofing membrane where a surface key is required for the final wall finish. Its high quality meshed surface provides an excellent substrate for lime mortars, renders, plasters or dabbed plaster board. Can also be used externally as the render base membrane to timber frame houses and to protect conventionally built properties, which are suffering from penetrating dampness through failed mortar joints.
