Delivery is £12.50 + VAT to UK Mainland. Orders over £100.00 + VAT qualify for free delivery, except for certain products—these will be clearly shown at checkout.

BIOKIL. TopSeal Epoxy Tanking & DPM – two-part epoxy tanking coating (5kg twin pack, grey)

A high-performance, two-part epoxy resin coating that protects floors and walls, above and below ground, from aggressive water, severe weather, chemical spillages and hydrostatic pressure. It can be applied to damp or dry surfaces, internally or externally, and also works as an epoxy damp-proof membrane (DPM).

Typical applications

Factory floors and walls, reservoirs, tanks, swimming pools, silos and water treatment works. In all below-ground applications it must be applied over TopSeal Epoxy Sealer.

Application in brief

Prepare surfaces as for TopSeal Epoxy Sealer and prime with it. Apply the tanking once the second coat of sealer is touch-dry, but within 24 hours (if the sealer has fully cured, apply another coat of sealer first).
Mix the entire contents of Pack A into Pack B (up to 1 litre of clean cold water may be added) and use immediately; mix a full new set for each coat.
Apply by brush or airless spray (up to 20% water dilution for spray) at 7°C or above. Two coats are required for tanking; one coat may suffice as a DPM but two are recommended. Apply the second coat at right angles once the first is touch-dry, within 24 hours.
Pot life 1–2 hours at 20°C. Tack-free and ready for light traffic after 24 hours; full chemical and abrasion resistance in 7 days. Anti-slip aggregates can be added.

Coverage: approx. 30m² per 5kg, single coat on smooth surfaces – porous or textured surfaces use much more. Protect from frost; shelf life 12 months stored above 5°C. Use barrier cream and protective clothing.
