DPC Injection

A chemical damp proof course (DPC) controls rising damp by forming a water-repellent barrier in the wall. The cream or fluid is injected into a line of holes drilled along the mortar bed.

Creams are the simplest choice. BIOKIL. BioDry ProCream is a silicone cream sold in 600ml, 1L and 5L, and Dryzone DPC Cream is a high-strength silane/siloxane cream in 310ml, 600ml and 5L.

For pressure or low-pressure injection there are fluids. BioDry ProSil is a siloxane concentrate, and BioDry ProFlow is a siliconate that comes as a concentrate or ready-to-use. BioDry ProSolv is a solvent-based option in 25L.

Finish the drilled holes with 12mm DPC Plugs, or start with the Damp Proofing Kit, which is calculated to cover 30m².
