BioDry ProSil 5L

BioDry ProSil – Multi-Functional Siloxane DPC Fluid is a concentrated, water-based injection product formulated to create a chemical damp-proof course (DPC) in masonry. It behaves like a solvent system yet offers the handling, safety and low odour of a water-based true solution, delivering deep penetration and rapid cross-linking to line pores and capillaries against rising damp. Dilutes 1:4 with clean water.

Where to Use

For professional pressure-injection DPC installation in brick, block and stone substrates to control rising damp. Suitable for cavity and solid walls; treat each leaf of cavity walls separately.

Mixing

• Always add BioDry ProSil to water (not vice-versa).
• Dilution: 1 part ProSil : 4 parts clean water (5 L makes 25 L ready-to-use).
• Ensure injection equipment is thoroughly cleaned before use.

Coverage (Guide)

Allow ~2.5 L per metre of 230 mm (9″) wall. Actual usage varies with thickness, porosity and moisture content.

Replastering & Aftercare

• Replaster strictly to the manufacturer’s Replastering Specification.
• Treat all decorations as temporary for 9–12 months; use non-vinyl emulsion initially.
• Avoid vinyl/woodchip wallpapers during drying; maintain good air circulation.
