Damp Proof Membrane

Damp proof membranes separate a finish from a wet wall or floor, so moisture and salts can't reach the plaster, render or flooring. They're used where a chemical DPC alone won't work, or below ground where water is present.

For walls, the 3mm Meshed Membrane and 8mm Meshed Membrane are plaster-ready. BioFlex Membrane is a flexible 1.5mm damp and salt barrier that is bonded on without mechanical fixings. For basements, the 3mm, 8mm and 20mm Stud cavity drain membranes form part of a Type C system, and the Geotextile Membrane relieves hydrostatic pressure. Floors can be isolated from damp slabs with the 1mm Slimline Membrane.
