How the System Works

Preparation Instructions

Surface Cleaning

• Remove loose wallpaper, dirt, grease, and damaged coatings
• Dilute BIOKIL Mould Wash at 1:19 with clean water
• Apply using the supplied sponge as a wetting solution before wallpaper removal
• Wash all affected walls, ceilings, joinery, and window frames thoroughly
• Repeat treatment on heavily contaminated areas if required

Surface Repairs

• Repair masonry defects before painting
• Sand repaired areas smooth
• Prime bare masonry or metal where necessary

Porous Plaster Preparation

On new or highly porous plaster, thin the first coat of Anti-Mould Emulsion with up to 10% clean water to improve adhesion.

Application Instructions

• Stir the paint thoroughly before use
• Apply using a brush, roller, or spray
• Apply two coats for best performance
• Allow adequate drying time between coats
• Clean all tools with water before paint dries

Wallpaper Applications

For unfinished textured wallpapers such as woodchip or blown vinyl, ensure the mould wash is fully dry before hanging wallpaper.

Once installed, apply two coats of BIOKIL Anti-Mould Emulsion directly onto the wallpaper surface.

• Approximate coverage: 6–8m² per litre per coat
