Delivery is £12.50 + VAT to UK Mainland. Orders over £100.00 + VAT qualify for free delivery, except for certain products—these will be clearly shown at checkout.
Orders placed by 3pm (stock permitting) are dispatched the same working day on a next working day service (not guaranteed).
Some areas, like Northern Scotland, may take 2–3 working days.
Deliveries outside the UK Mainland are charged at cost—please contact us.

BIOKIL. SBR Bonding Agent – high-solids SBR latex for mortars, renders and screeds
A styrene-butadiene co-polymer latex with a high solids content, designed for use with cement. Used as an admixture in mortar and concrete it increases water resistance, wear resistance and durability, and mixed with cement it makes a reliable, water-resistant bonding coat.

- Greatly increased flexural strength and reduced shrinkage
- Excellent adhesion to steel and concrete; bonds well to brick, glass, asphalt, wood, expanded polystyrene and most building materials
- Ideal for thin-section mixes and floor repairs
Typical applications
Concrete repair, floor screeds and toppings, internal and external rendering, waterproofing and tanking, fixing brick slips and tiles, corrosion protection of steel, and silage pit lining.
Typical mixes
- Bonding coat: Portland cement mixed with SBR diluted 1:1 with water to a brushing consistency – approx. 0.2 litres/m². Apply to a wetted surface and render while still tacky (usually within 20 minutes); use within 2 hours.
- Screeds (1 cement : 3 sand): SBR:water 1:2 for 25mm, 1:3 for 50mm, 1:4 for 75mm.
- Rendering: internal 1:4 cement:sand with SBR diluted 1:4; external waterproof render 1:3 with SBR diluted 1:3. First coat no more than 7mm.
