ACS Mould Wash Concentrate

Mould Wash Concentrate, when diluted, removes and prevents the re-appearance of unsightly growths of mould on ceilings and interior or exterior walls which as well as unsightly can also be a health hazard. Once surfaces are cleared of any non-washable or loose material, flaking paint, grease etc, and the surface has been rubbed down to a smooth finish, the solution is ready to be applied.

Preparation:

1. Prepare surfaces by removing non-washable and loose material, e.g. flaking paint, grease, dirt, mould or wallpaper. Mould Wash can be used to “wet in” wallpaper before removal.

2. Make good any surface defects and rub down to a smooth finish.

3. Wash down with Mould Wash using a sponge, scrubbing brush or cloth. Allow to dry thoroughly. Apply second wash in badly soiled areas and allow to dry.

4. Prime any bare areas of plaster and woodwork with Anti-mould Emulsion, thinned up to 10% with water if necessary.

5. Apply appropriate Anti-mould or Anti-condensation Coating. Drying Time 1-4 hours normally. Practical Coverage 6-8m2/litre when diluted depending on the porosity and roughness of the surface. Application By sponge, cloth or brush.
