BIOKIL. Aqua Pump Kit – complete basement sump and pump system

A complete, ready-to-install water control system for basement waterproofing. When cavity drainage membranes are installed below ground, natural drainage is rarely possible, so water must be removed mechanically. The Aqua Pump Kit is installed at the lowest point of the basement, close to a suitable discharge point, and can be linked with Aqua Channel to collect water from retaining walls.

What's included

• Pre-formed polyethylene sump basin (560mm high, 540mm diameter at the top, 460mm at the base) with a removable structural-foam lid that accepts foot traffic
• 230V mains-powered submersible pump with automatic snap-action float switch
• Internal 40mm plumbing with non-return valve, ready for a standard 1½" waste pipe
• Battery-powered (9V) 80dB high water level alarm

Important

For groundwater only – do not use to pump grey water (sinks, washing machines, dishwashers, condensing boilers) or effluent. The pump must be wired to an independent fused spur within 1.5m. Service at least every six months: clear silt, test the float switch and alarm, and replace the alarm battery. 12-month component guarantee.
