BIOKIL. Wood Treatment
Exterior wood treatment for enhanced protection
BIOKIL. Wood Treatment is a solvent-based pigmented stain for exterior softwood and hardwood. It penetrates the timber, accentuates the natural grain and improves water repellency and protection against weathering.
Available in Clear, Brown, Straw and Red Cedar.
Key Benefits
- Penetrates deeply into timber for long-lasting protection
- Improves water repellency to help reduce moisture absorption
- Protects against the effects of weathering and UV exposure
- Accentuates the natural grain of the wood
- Odourless once dry
- Ready to use – no thinning required
Typical Applications
Fences, sheds, cladding, façades, garden buildings, carports, pergolas, shutters, gates and balcony railings.
Application
- Timber must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and loose or flaking coatings. New wood needs no pre-treatment.
- Stir well. Apply thinly and evenly along the grain by brush or suitable sprayer, or dip for at least 3 minutes. Do not thin.
- Allow each coat to dry fully before applying the next. Do not apply in damp conditions or when rain is expected before the product has dried.
- Protect surrounding surfaces, soil and plants from splashes, and use only in well-ventilated areas.
