Delivery is £12.50 + VAT to UK Mainland. Orders over £100.00 + VAT qualify for free delivery, except for certain products—these will be clearly shown at checkout.

Orders placed by 3pm (stock permitting) are dispatched the same working day on a next working day service (not guaranteed).

Some areas, like Northern Scotland, may take 2–3 working days.

BIOKIL. Breathable Masonry Paint (AquaGuard)

Long-lasting, breathable, anti-fungal masonry protection

A water-based, blister-resistant masonry coating that gives a durable, smooth finish with protection against organic growth. Suitable for interior and exterior use on dry, smooth or textured surfaces such as cement, plaster renderings, brickwork, blockwork, masonry, render and pebbledash.

Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and sound, with loose, flaking or peeling paint removed.
Remove organic growth with a stiff brush, then treat with BIOKIL. Biocidal Cleanser (external) or BIOKIL. Mould Wash Concentrate (internal).
Repair defects, including major cracks and faulty gutters or downpipes.
Brush dusty or chalky surfaces thoroughly. Fully remove limewash or distemper, then apply a liberal coat of BIOKIL. Stabilising Solution; also use it on porous or unevenly absorbent surfaces.
New surfaces must be completely dry and free from efflorescent salts. Brush or wipe off efflorescence and wait 48 hours to confirm it has stopped before painting.

Application

Apply two coats by brush, roller or spray, allowing 2 to 4 hours between coats.
Do not apply in wet weather or on damp surfaces.
Clean equipment with water.

Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; if affected, flush eyes with water for 10 minutes. Keep away from children.

How far does BIOKIL. Breathable Masonry Paint go?
9–11m² per litre on average. On rough surfaces such as brickwork, render or pebbledash, expect 3–4m² per litre.

How many coats, and how long between them?
Two coats by brush, roller or spray, with 2–4 hours between coats. It is touch dry in 2–4 hours. Avoid wet weather and damp surfaces.

How should I prepare the surface?
