Drygrip™ Adhesive – Box of 12 x 600ml
Drygrip™ Adhesive is a salt- and damp-resistant adhesive used with Dryshield® Cream as part of the Dryzone® System for replastering after rising damp treatment. It forms a very strong, long-lasting bond with excellent resistance to moisture and to the effects of salt on masonry.
Benefits
- Strong, long-lasting bond
- Suitable for damp and salt-contaminated surfaces
- Low-odour, solvent-free, fast-curing formulation
- Accommodates natural movement of the wall
Application
- Surfaces must be clean, sound and dust-free; wire-brush loose material from weaker substrates such as old masonry. Prime with Dryshield® Cream.
- Insert the 600ml foil into an open applicator gun, perforate the end, refit the end cap and nozzle, and trim the nozzle to a 10mm hole.
- Apply the adhesive and immediately place the plasterboard, securing it with even pressure and a slight twist. Positioning plugs can help with larger boards.
Typical consumption is 1–2 foils per standard sheet of plasterboard (2.4 x 1.2m). Adhesion trials are recommended before large-scale use.
