Delivery and Shipping

Delivery is £12.50 + VAT to UK Mainland. Orders over £100.00 + VAT qualify for free delivery, except for certain products—these will be clearly shown at checkout.

Orders placed by 3pm (stock permitting) are dispatched the same working day on a next working day service (not guaranteed).

Some areas, like Northern Scotland, may take 2–3 working days.

BIOKIL. Integral Waterproofer – waterproofing admixture for mortar, concrete, renders & screeds

BIOKIL. Integral Waterproofer is a liquid/gel additive that provides long-term protection from water damage to mortar, concrete, renders and screeds by dramatically reducing water permeability.

It is suitable for all applications where resistance to water damage is necessary, such as pool and tank linings, roof areas, external rendering/pointing and structures below ground level. It also contains an air entraining agent, so it will not “deaden” the mix and there is no need to add a separate admix. Tested to BS EN 934-3.

Dosing

Add to the gauging water at 0.5 to 1 litre per 100kg cement, or dilute 1 part waterproofer to 20–40 parts water, mix until fully dispersed, then add to the mix
Gauge the mix as stiff as possible to minimise the risk of cracking, reducing the total quantity of water accordingly (by up to 20%)

Limitations

Do not use in structural concrete
Not intended as a DPC replacement; will not withstand permanent hydrostatic pressure
For tanking applications, use in conjunction with a DPM emulsion
Does not repel water – if a water repellent finish is required, coat the render/screed with a water seal
