Delivery and Shipping

Delivery is £12.50 + VAT to UK Mainland. Orders over £100.00 + VAT qualify for free delivery, except for certain products—these will be clearly shown at checkout.

Orders placed by 3pm (stock permitting) are dispatched the same working day on a next working day service (not guaranteed).

Some areas, like Northern Scotland, may take 2–3 working days.

Deliveries outside the UK Mainland are charged at cost—please contact us.

Limelite High Impact Finishing Plaster 25kg – tough, breathable finish coat

A breathable, durable finishing plaster designed to give a quality finish over Limelite backing plasters. It can also be used over lime backgrounds, sand/cement and existing gypsum plaster, and dries to an off-white, matt finish that can be left unpainted for a natural look.

Application in brief

Apply in a single coat of 2–5mm.
Leave to set for 90 minutes (temperature dependent), then level with stainless steel trowels. Matt finish – do not overwork or polish.
Over existing plaster, prime with Limelite Easy Bond first.
Decorate after 24 hours using breathable paints. Shelf life: 6 months.

Note: gypsum is not breathable – over gypsum backgrounds the finish should be considered decorative only.

How much does a 25kg bag cover?
About 10m² at 2mm thick. This is approximate and does not allow for site wastage.

How thick should I apply it?
Apply a single coat 2–5mm thick. Leave it to set for about 90 minutes, then level it with stainless steel trowels. It has a matt finish: do not overwork or polish it.

How much water do I mix with a 25kg bag?
About 7.5 litres of clean, cool water. Mix for 2–3 minutes, rest for 3–5 minutes, then remix.

Can I apply it over existing gypsum plaster?
Yes, if the plaster is clean, level and in good condition. Prime it with Limelite Easy Bond and apply once the primer is tacky. Gypsum is not breathable, so in damp conditions the finish is decorative only.

When can I decorate?
After 24 hours, with breathable paints such as mineral or water-based paints. You can also leave it unpainted for a natural off-white finish.
