TIMCO Timber Hanger – Long Leg, for deeper timber
A TIMCO long leg timber hanger designed for deeper timber-to-timber work. It is ideal for loft conversions and "under-slung" floor joists, where the hanger extends below the supporting beam. Every width can take a joist up to 250mm deep.
Made from 1.2mm galvanised steel.

Installation guidelines
- Make sure the back plate of the hanger sits flat against the timber.
- Square-cut the joist so it sits tight to the back of the hanger.
- Fix the joist through every hole with 3.75 x 30mm galvanised square twist nails. For stainless steel applications use 2.36 x 30mm stainless steel annular ringshank nails.
